I try to keep my imagination alive. A photo a day and black and white. These are the only rules I have given myself. It’s probably best NOT to take a large amount of photos.
Why black and white? I took many photos about forty years ago with my Contax and my Zeiss lenses. I liked to control the entire process and for this reason I used only black and white. Many hours spent in the cellar developing negatives and printing photos. I still remember the smell of acetic acid.
I stopped shooting for many years. Now the desire to shoot has returned.
I continue with black and white but with a different technology. I have a lot to learn. For now I am concentrating on improving technique and not so much on content.
